Prayer for Japan
2004-09-27 @ 1:57 a.m.
I just got through reading a few diaries, and I'm feeling convicted. Today hasn't been a bad day, but I know that it could have been better. This morning when I woke up I didn't seek out Jesus. I didn't seek Him out. I haven't been seeking Him out like I should. I haven't as passionate as He wants me too. I'm reading these diaries of people who are just so in love with Christ and it's stirring up passion in me.
I've felt guilty for not spending time with God first thing, and I got a chance to spend some quality time with Him, this afternoon. I prayed a lot for Japan. God gave me a verse for this country.
Ezekiel 11: 19-21
"I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people and I will be their God. But as for those who are devoted to their vile images and detestable idols, I will bring down on their own heads w2hat they have done, declares the Sovereign Lord."
This country is just dying. The people walk around, lifeless. Somewhere in the Bible it says something like "they will become like their gods," or something. Well it's the TRUTH, these people are just lifeless. God is starting to move here. People are getting hearts for Japan. I'm excited for this place. God is going to work here. But these people need prayer! God said "I will not give my glory to another..." These people need to know that. Whoever reads this, take a minute and lift up a prayer to God for Japan. He will hear you.
I Luv ya LotZ! God bless you all!
