Cruella de Vil, Birthdays, Chaos, and Ashland

I haven't written in awhile. I've been really busy.
Well, we had 101 Dalmatian performances last week. That was a blast. The last performance I was really sick, though. I was really wheezy and my inhaler was NOT helping. So I performed the whole show without being able to breathe. I was miserable. But, I had people tell me that it was one of my better performances. I think it was because I took out all my frustration at having no energy out in my performance. Other than that, it was a lot of fun.
This week was Jessica's birthday. On Wednesday, Shannon, Jenna, and I planned a scavenger hunt birthday surprise for Jessica and Kate. Kate turned ten on August 10th while Jessica turned eleven on August 11th. They had to go to a bunch of different stores and ask stupid questions or perform silly songs in order to get their clues. Then, they got little gifts at each place. I
t's kind of nice that Amazing Deals is going out of business because now everything is 75% off. We bought a ton of stuff and spent under $4.00.
Yesterday the Stevens family and ours went to the lake. It was a CRAZY day!
First of all...Mom went out on a Bible study that morning with Mrs. S. (Stevens) Mrs. Short, and Mrs. Cardot. When she was leaving, she realized that she couldn't open her car. It was because she had the wrong key. She had the key for the truck. With the van, you can sometimes turn the keyhole without a key in it and drive. So, she was stranded. I was going to pick her up in Audi, but it wouldn't start. So, Dad had to go get her, she had to drop off Dad, then together we picked up the van. Then I went to Fred Meyer's to go shopping for food for our daytrip. Mom made a number of stops, too.
The house was in disarray and we didn't end up leaving till like 1:00. We had planned on leaving at 10:00.
The lake was a lot of fun, there were little hot springs there, so that was pretty cool.
Today, my literature class is going to Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival. I'm really excited about that. I'm going to wear my ball dress for it. It's not totally time period appropriate because it's Regency style rather than Renaissance. But, it'll still be fun.
Okay, well, I'd better go. I haven't packed or anything.
