Crazy Vacation!

Wow. A ton has happened since I last wrote.
We got a motorhome. We took a family vacation. We went to a theme park. Went to the lake. Broke the motorhome. Got stranded in podunk town of Biggs.
Maybe I should start at the beginning. We've been waiting all summer to go on our family vacation. Finally we're leaving. So, Monday, the day that we're leaving, Dad comes home with a motorhome. Well, actually Dad and Mom and all the kids except Ben and I.
We drove to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho which is about 8 hours away. We went to a theme park/water park there, spent two days on the lake with rented boats. One day we went intertubing and wakeboarding, the other we rented a slower moving boat and ate breakfast on it then went swimming. We admired all the gorgeous lakefront houses and wondered how much money the people made who lived in them. We came to the conclusion that the people who owned those houses only lived in them for the summer. Go figure. They're loaded!
That evening we went parasailing! Now, that was cool! I felt like I was floating. The whole time I was up there I was singing and NO ONE could hear me! 'Cept God, of course. It was a blast.
That same night we drove to Ione, Washington, to visit some friends. Ione has about 150 people living there. We visited some friends who have 7 kids. We went to BBQ with them and some friends. It was so fun! Somehow, now, we're driving a bus to Panama either this next month (September) or in January. :) But that's another story. Although, there is a serious possibility that it may happen. Knowing how God works kind of spontaneously I have a feeling that it might actually happen. I'll write more on that when I get a few more details.
That night we headed for Hermiston, Oregon to visit some other friends. We went to church with them and spent part of Sunday with them just hanging out. And FINALLY we headed home. Then the power steering broke and the power brakes broke. So we spent the night in Biggs hoping a mechanic could help.
Nope. Not today. So we drove to The Dalles hoping for a mechanic. Spent the night there. No luck. Dad drove BACK to Biggs. Got it all fixed. Then we drove home.
When we got home we were all (except Dad) shocked to see our yard totally clean, with a nice edged lawn and stuff, and house totally clean! :) 'Cept now it's a mess cuz we've been emptying everything.
This week we're supposed to get a bunch of new kitchen appliances, such as a fridge, double oven, trash compacter in, then on Monday we leave for family camp. AHH! Well, this should be fun!
I'm kind of looking forward to the school year, and some routine. Not like there's much routine in my school. HA!
Speaking of school,I need to go work on mi espanol, I want to learn as much as I can before Panama!
Luv ya LotZ!
