Wow, today has been crazy. It's been one of those days that just goes on and on and on. Last night I spent the night at Caitlin/Paige's. Holly/Ally was there too. It was a lot of fun. We tried to make cookie dough last night, when Caitlin goes..."Oh no. I accidently quadrupled the brown sugar!" She was chagrined. So, rather than doubling the recipe like we planned, we proceeded to quadruple all the other ingredients. After a while of confusion, Caitlin finally ewxclaimed, mortified, "Oh no! I didn't actually quadruple it in the first place!" So, we had to quadruple all the sugar as well. And since they didn't happen to have the ten cups of sugar that were needed for the recipe, we tried to split it in half. Thus failing in evenly distributing the cookie dough we added oats as well, to make it thicker. For all the mistakes, they sure turned out good.
This morning I had to leave Caitlin's house early. I had to be at the Maricle's at ten for a play reading of Pride and Prejudice. We're going to perform it for literary night. We had kind of auditions and stuff. I'm Elizabeth Bennet. I have a lot of lines to learn. I felt kind of bad, because I did want to be her, but I really wanted Shannon to be her, because she wanted to be her really bad. But...oh well, that's okay. If you've never read the book "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen, then you are totally missing out! It is such a great book! And the movies are awesome, too. They are totally worth your time, you have to watch them.
After that 6-hour play-planning I had to come directly home, where I was picked up by the Beuhners for babysitting. I watched Rachel and Jacob until 8:30, then sent up to bed and watched Beauty and the Beast. That is such an awesome movie! I love that movie! Beauty in the Beast is great...:) You should watch that, too. That is one of my favorite movies.
And now, I'm back home. :)
I talked to Hollie C. today and she said that if I want to do CMTG (Children's Music Theater Group) then I should sign up now. She said that they start turning people away because it gets so full. Wow. I need to call the company on Monday and see if I can get a scholarship, because $360 dollars is just too much. Especially if I'm saving up for Greece, too. And it's gonna have to be every nickel and dime if I wanna go to Greece, cuz it is expensive. Man. I need to get a job.
Okay, well I should go now. You all probably don't want to read this big long entry, but that's okay. I don't really care. Wow. I'm tired. I need to go to bed...you can tell I stayed up till two last night...
