Lake Shasta

Rarr...I've been thinking about Todd and Micki and Japan all day. I miss them so much! I think my family should go visit them...
Well, everyone, to change the subject, let me tell you about my weekend. It was a blast! Mi familia and I went to Lake Shasta, which is in California. It took us about 5 1/2 hours to get there. I drove for half of it. It was SO FUN! The water was so warm and it was incredibly hot.
The trip was wonderful! We took separate cars. So my dad and most of the kids left on Friday night, while Mom, Ben, Amy, Michaela, and I left Saturday morning. That meant that it was a wonderfully peaceful trip. However, once we got there, we couldn't find them for over an hour and a half in blistering heat (at least what I call blistering). Finally we prayed, and lo and behold, within five minutes we found each other. Funny...shoulda thought of that in the first place.
That day was really fun...'cept I had a really bad asthma attack and I had forgotten my inhaler, so my dad had to drive me to Redding to get an over-the-counter one. But, hey, I got 45 minutes of driving on the way back.
We had a wonderful camping area. We were right next to all of the drunk partyers...the ones who decided to stay up till 1 am playing Marco Polo, yelling, screaming, and drinking booze. So that was wonderful.
Then the next day the boat broke down. We didn't get back to our campground until 2 am.
But it was really fun. I went wakeboarding and stuff.
Oh man, I forgot to do my kitchen job...ttyl. Luv ya LotZ
